Today was a special and meaningful day for our building class. We started working on a project to help an 89-year-old woman and her 15-year-old grandchild by building them a new house. It feels good to know that what we are learning in class can make a real difference in someone’s life.
The first step we took was starting the foundation. This is one of the most important parts of any building, because it supports everything that comes after. We worked together as a team, carefully preparing the ground and beginning the base of the house.
